Another Update...

Wow, I forgot to post on 4th of July. Hey, at least I tweeted. This summer was much busier than I ever expected it to be. Just finished a week of VBS, in which I helped out with tech stuff. And you know something weird; it was my first VBS, which is surprising considering I've grown up in church and been a pastor's son for most of my life.

Anyway, I should get posts up sooner than later. Things in the world are quite exciting... and depressing. But in my corner of the world, exciting.

WHY THIS BLOG EXISTS

John Wesley said “I look upon all the world as my parish [including the blogosphere]; thus far I mean, that, in whatever part of it I am, I judge it meet, right, and my bounden duty to declare unto all that are willing to hear, the glad tidings of salvation. This is the work which I know God has called me to; and sure I am that His blessing attends it. Great encouragement have I, therefore, to be faithful in fulfilling the work He hath given me to do."

CUMULATIVE CASE FOR A CREATOR SUMMARIZED
• Premise #1 - Whatever begins to exist must have a cause. Premise #2 - The universe began to exist. The conclusion logically and inescapably follows: the universe has a cause.
• The initial conditions of the universe, given in the big bang theory itself, must have been incredibly fine tuned beyond comprehension. This is either due to chance, natural law, or design. It is too incomprehensible to be explained by natural law, or chance; therefore, the best explanation is design.
• If objective moral values exist, then God exists. Objective moral values--morals that are legal and binding whether anyone believes in them or not. Objective moral values do exist (we know this intuitively); therefore God exists.
• After Jesus died on the cross, three facts remained: the empty tomb, the appearances of Jesus after the resurrection, and the disciples belief that Jesus had risen from the dead. Contemporary scholarship agrees on these three facts; every attempt to explain these facts away have been completely disregarded.

• Another dead giveaway that an adult is writing your stuff is the maturity level and style. No matter the intelligence of a fifteen year old, they write with fifteen year old style [I was 15 at the time], not adult syntax and style.
