Where're the Comments???

If you're asking that, I'm going to have to apologize. It was I who turned off the comments. I am responsible.

Please, please, please don't get wrong, I'm not trying to silence you or anything of that sort. So I'll tell you why I've TEMPORARILY turned off the comments.

Well, I've found that when people comment I often feel obligated to answer. So, before I start up the comments again, I'm going to get in the groove of writing daily for a few weeks.

I promise, however, to turn the comments back on before the end of June. Probably much sooner. I'm just extending it out just in case.

Again, not trying to silence you.

So, just sit back, and read the posts as if it were the news or something. If you're an atheist, be careful because some things I say may make you mad. You may feel the need to comment. I understand; I feel that way when I read liberal news articles and the like.

But don't worry, I'm going to turn the comments back on soon.

If you don't want to read the blog until then, I understand.

WHY THIS BLOG EXISTS

John Wesley said “I look upon all the world as my parish [including the blogosphere]; thus far I mean, that, in whatever part of it I am, I judge it meet, right, and my bounden duty to declare unto all that are willing to hear, the glad tidings of salvation. This is the work which I know God has called me to; and sure I am that His blessing attends it. Great encouragement have I, therefore, to be faithful in fulfilling the work He hath given me to do."

CUMULATIVE CASE FOR A CREATOR SUMMARIZED
• Premise #1 - Whatever begins to exist must have a cause. Premise #2 - The universe began to exist. The conclusion logically and inescapably follows: the universe has a cause.
• The initial conditions of the universe, given in the big bang theory itself, must have been incredibly fine tuned beyond comprehension. This is either due to chance, natural law, or design. It is too incomprehensible to be explained by natural law, or chance; therefore, the best explanation is design.
• If objective moral values exist, then God exists. Objective moral values--morals that are legal and binding whether anyone believes in them or not. Objective moral values do exist (we know this intuitively); therefore God exists.
• After Jesus died on the cross, three facts remained: the empty tomb, the appearances of Jesus after the resurrection, and the disciples belief that Jesus had risen from the dead. Contemporary scholarship agrees on these three facts; every attempt to explain these facts away have been completely disregarded.
