Trump Gets Trumped

It seems the news of Barrack Osama, excuse me, Osama Bin Laden's death has practically buried Trump, his profane speeches, and the birth certificate investigation.

He's been trumped.

But that's not the real reason for this post (I just wanted to say he was trumped, catchy). It seems all the GOP has been trumped by the news. In fact, just the death of this one man has sent Obama's approval rating up by 9 points.

I was leery of the birth certificate and, though it was presented, I'll admit that I'm not entirely convinced. I know republican's have now decided that the issue was dumb. But apparently the birth certificate proves Obama's father wasn't a citizen. Whether that's important or not, I'm not positive. Just, still, leery. On this note, still 24% of the nation believes Obama was born outside the US.  (Don't get me wrong... the birther movement may be dumb.  Still, Obama could have shown it a long time ago.  He's sure using it to his political advantage).

However, I'll put that to the back of mind to make room in the front for all of Obama's real crimes. Like passing healthcare, not defending the law against homosexuals, ect, ect.. More on this later.

This new news of his approval rating jumping has caused me to doubt the American people's... brains, I guess. I mean, Obama didn't have much to do with it. He originally promised to take troops out of the war. He kept with Bush's policies, and that is what killed Osama.

Sure, Obama ordered the kill. I'm grateful to him for that. Keep in mind, however, he knows he's facing a conservative revolution and is going to have to act conservative in the next two years. Gunning a terrorist down is very conservative.

Obama's been especially conservative and humorous lately. And his rating has gone up.

Really, America? All he has to do is pretend to be conservative and tell a few jokes and, aha, he's the right man?

I for one won't change that easily.
