Guess what? Narnia wins.
Narnia beat Tron this December, even while Disney criticized its slow start.
When I last posted about Narnia, it had reached $337 million.
It's rounded out at the end of its run at $414 million, only a few million shy of its predecessor. It actually would have won, for it was showing strong numbers in Japan, except for the earthquakes and tsunamis.
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has been released on DVD and Bluray if anyone is interested.
Now, it seems that Walden Media is going to make the prequel to the series, Magician's Nephew, next. We should expect that in a few years. The next movie is also expected to make more than the last two, which didn't do comparatively as well as the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
We shall see.
